Fractals. Purrrrrrdy shiny colours.....
I`ve always been amazed by fractals...and so found a very kewl site that has a rather large gallery of fractals for your viewing pleasure. Before we get there tho`...I`ve always only played around with the Mandelbrot fractal set, but decided to try my hand using Gimp to render my own fractal, and came up with a funky design using the following parameters :First X co-ordinate delimitation : -0.06000 ;
Second X co-ordinate delimitation : 0.15000 ;
First Y co-ordinate delimitation : -0.45000;
Second Y co-ordinate delimitation : -0.19739;
Iteration Rate : 140.00000;
Number of Colours Used : 2165;
Red Saturation : 0;
Green Saturation : 1;
Blue Saturation : 1;
Colour Functions : Red - Sine, Green - Sine, Blue - Cosine; and
Fractal Type : Manowar
The result :

Very very kewl....now if you think you have to know all the technical jargon above before you can do such funky designs, not so....Gimp makes it very easy for you to render your own using a few mouse clicks and a few changes of the base parameters....download it now, it`ll be worth your while....now back to the site I found..
There is an immense gallery section you can browse around, and for those with high download speeds, check out the following gallery of moving fractals...they are truly amazing, especially Oscar...but be warned, the file is 58Mb in size.
Beast, I wouldn`t mind watching this fullscreen on your new GPU on the weekend...will bring Oscar with :) Purrrrrrrrrrdy !!!
WARNING : Go easy BongMasteR, contains bright colours and moving images :)
